Advances in Medical Physics Webinar
How far have machine learning and AI advanced treatment planning automation, and what does the state-of-the-art look like today? This webinar provides a review of various ML and AI algorithms that have been studied and developed for treatment planning over the past decade. Detailed examples will also showcase the clinical implementations and adoptions of some of the technologies. As such, some of them are well implemented in clinical practice, while others are showing great promise for reshaping the treatment planning process in the clinic. The speaker, Dr. Jackie Wu, has extensively funded and published research that focuses on AI-driven radiotherapy planning technologies, several of which have been licensed to industry and widely used around the globe or implemented clinically at Duke, including an AI-based breast cancer auto-planning system used in more than 6,000 clinical cases.
