Presenter Toolkit
The AAPM Spring Clinical Meeting depends on contributions from our presenters. This toolkit is your one-stop resource for submitting proposals and abstracts, preparing your presentation, and getting ready for the meeting.
Registration requirement: All presenters and program participants — members, nonmembers, and students — must register for the AAPM Spring Clinical Meeting and pay the appropriate registration fees.
Request for Proposal (RFP) Submission
RFPs are the first step in proposing a session for the 2027 Spring Clinical Meeting. Sessions may include symposia, hands-on workshops, case-based panels, and professional development programming across therapy, imaging, mammography, and related topics.
Ready to Submit Your RFP?
Deadline for submission is June 9, 2026. Log in to the submission portal to get started.
Abstract Submission
The abstract submission site opens August 5, 2026. Abstracts must be 300 words or fewer and include any supporting data. The submission deadline is September 13, 2026.
We welcome submissions in the following categories:
- Early-Career Investigator Symposium — This symposium offers early-career professionals a platform to present clinical projects or research. Top-rated abstracts, as reviewed by our expert panel, will be selected for oral presentation.
- Best Poster Competition — Poster abstracts should highlight clinical work aligned with the meeting's practical focus. Judges will evaluate submissions based on clinical relevance, originality, and clarity of presentation. Authors must upload a PDF of their poster before the meeting and display a printed version on-site.
- In the Clinic: Short Oral Presentations — Share practical, innovative clinical solutions in 10-minute oral presentations (8 minutes presentation + 2 minutes Q&A). Submissions should spotlight real-world practices that others can apply, rather than just procedural history. Presentations will be grouped by thematic areas.
Tips for a strong abstract: Focus on clinical applicability, use clear and concise language, and highlight what attendees will be able to implement in their practice after your session.
