Summer School Tuition Scholarships

AAPM is committed to supporting early-career medical physicists, and we are pleased to offer a limited number of full tuition scholarships for the 2026 AAPM Summer School. These scholarships help reduce financial barriers and provide rising professionals with access to high-quality instruction, hands-on learning, and valuable networking opportunities.

If you are in the early stages of your career and eager to deepen your skills, connect with experts, and gain practical knowledge to strengthen your professional path, we encourage you to apply.

Eligibility Requirements

• Strong consideration is given to full-time medical physicists within the first five years of their careers (post-training). Medical Physics Residents may apply and will be considered after early-career full-time applicants.
• Applicants must be AAPM members in good standing.
• Submit at least two letters of reference explaining how attending the Summer School will benefit you.
• Submit a Financial Need Letter from your employer stating that tuition support is not available, or provide an attestation confirming you are self-employed.
• Submit a personal statement.
• Submit a copy of your current CV.

Notification & Registration

If you plan to apply for a scholarship, we encourage you to register for the Summer School as well to ensure your spot is reserved. When registering, you may select the “paying by check” option until you receive your scholarship decision. If you are not selected for an award and choose not to attend, you will have the option to cancel your registration.
