Continuing Education Credits
The 2027 AAPM Spring Clinical Meeting offers Medical Physics Continuing Education Credits (MPCEC) and Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) credits for qualified attendees.
Credit Types at a Glance
The Spring Clinical Meeting offers two types of continuing education credits. Review the summary below, then see each section for full details.
MPCEC — Medical Physicists
CAMPEP-approved Medical Physics Continuing Education Credits (MPCEC) are available for in-person attendance and on-demand viewing. Includes 2 hours of General Poster Viewing credit.
MDCB — Medical Dosimetrists
CMD credits from the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) are available for in-person attendance only. On-demand viewing does not qualify for MDCB credit.
Online Evaluation Required
Credits for both MPCEC and MDCB require completion of the online evaluation survey for each session. The evaluation system closes May 18, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET. There are no extensions.
Credits Released May 25, 2027
After the evaluation system closes, AAPM will report credits to CAMPEP and MDCB. Credits are released to attendees on May 25, 2027. No hard-copy transcripts are issued.
MPCEC Credits (CAMPEP-Approved)
The 2027 AAPM Spring Clinical Meeting will apply to the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs, Inc. (CAMPEP) for MPCEC hours, which will include 2 hours of General Poster Viewing.
Obtaining Credits
- To obtain MPCECs, attendees must attend or view each session in its entirety and complete the online evaluation.
- Use your registration email address and Badge ID to access the Online CEC Evaluation System.
- Presentations will be available On-Demand so registrants can view missed sessions and earn additional credits.
- On-Demand content is available approximately 24 hours after each session ends. Viewing is tracked electronically.
- Individuals registered as Guests are not eligible for MPCEC.
After the Meeting
- After the online CEC evaluation system closes on May 18, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET, AAPM will provide CAMPEP with participant details and credits for transcripts in the CAMPEP MPCEC Repository.
- Participants will not receive a hard-copy CAMPEP transcript. If needed, order directly from CAMPEP.
- Credits will be released to attendees on May 25, 2027.
CAMPEP credit totals will be published when the meeting program is finalized in December 2026.
MDCB Credits
AAPM will apply to the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) for approval of CMD credits for the 2027 AAPM Spring Clinical Meeting.
- To obtain credit, attendees must attend each session in person and complete an online evaluation survey. AAPM does not offer MDCB credits for on-demand viewing.
- The email address associated with your registration, your Registration/Badge ID, and your CMD number are required to access the Online CEC Evaluation System.
- AAPM will report the credits earned to the MDCB on May 25, 2027.

Evaluating Sessions for Credit
The online evaluation system will remain open through Tuesday, May 18, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET. Evaluations must be completed before this deadline to earn credit. There is no extension of the evaluation deadline.

Helpful Tips
Here are some helpful tips for navigating the online evaluation system.
Sign into the evaluation system using the email address you registered with and your Badge ID.
Access sessions via "Program by Day" in the evaluation system.
The system auto-saves all responses. No submit button is needed.
Review sessions you have already evaluated by clicking "Review Credits Claimed."
Claim poster credits via "Credit Claiming Information" in the evaluation system.
Upon completion, obtain a credit summary via email from "Review Credits Claimed."
Continued On-Demand Access for Registered Attendees
As an added benefit of registration, On-Demand recordings will be available via the meeting platform for up to one year after the meeting. After that time, selected content will be moved into the AAPM Virtual Library.
