What is the theme or focus of the conference?
The AAPM | COMP Annual Meeting & Exhibition focuses on advancing the science and practice of medical physics through cutting-edge research, clinical applications, and professional development. The meeting brings together clinicians, researchers, educators, and industry to share innovations in imaging, therapy, and radiological sciences, foster collaboration, and explore the latest technologies shaping the future of the field.
Who should attend?
The AAPM | COMP Annual Meeting is designed for medical physicists, dosimetrists, researchers, educators, trainees, and industry professionals involved in imaging, therapy, and radiological sciences. Whether you work in clinical practice, research, academia, or industry—and at any career stage—the meeting offers valuable education, innovation insights, and networking opportunities for those shaping the future of medical physics and patient care.
Registration & Payment
Is there an on-demand option?
Yes! We offer an on-demand only registration category. On-demand only registrants will have access to the session recordings 24 hours post-session. Attendees will have six weeks to complete the evaluation system to obtain continuing education credits. Session recordings will be available to attendees for one year.
Can I register after the meeting ends to view and access the recordings?
You must register before July 22, 2026 5:00PM PT in order to access the session recordings. Once registration has closed, session recordings will be available to members in July 2027.
What is the cancellation policy?
Written cancellations received by the June 22, 2026 are eligible for a refund. Please email AAPM_Attendees@maritz.com. After the deadline, registrations are non-refundable, but in-person registration may be changed to on-demand only.
Travel & Accommodation
Are there official AAPM-COMP hotels and group rates?
Yes! AAPM and COMP have secured 11 hotels at discounted group rates. Reservations will open March 3, 2026 and can only be booked during the registration process. Visit the Housing page to view available hotels and our currency converter.
What are the transportation options?
The Vancouver Convention Centre is easily accessible for attendees arriving by air. Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is located about 25 minutes from downtown and offers frequent direct flights from major cities across North America and internationally. The most convenient option from the airport is the Canada Line SkyTrain, which provides a direct, affordable ride to Waterfront Station, just a short walk from the Convention Centre. Taxis and rideshare services are also readily available at YVR and offer direct transportation to downtown hotels and the Convention Centre. Visit our Travel page for more information.
I need an invitation letter for my visa. How do I obtain that?
In order to receive an invitation letter from AAPM, you must already be registered for the meeting and have secured your accommodations. Please check the Travel page for additional information.
Schedule & Sessions
When will the program be available?
The meeting program will be available in May 2026. Check the Program page for updates.
Are CE/CME credits offered?
Yes! Eligible sessions will offer continuing education credits. Attendees will be able to evaluate on the meeting platform.
Onsite Information
Where do I pick up my badge?
Badges can be picked up at the registration desk during posted hours. You can view the hours on the Registration page and On-Site Services page.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Complimentary Wi-Fi will be available in designated areas. Wi-Fi information will be provided to attendees via the Know Before You Go email, sent approximately one week before the meeting.
