AAPM’s Continuing Education (CE) program spans core competencies and emerging advances in medical physics and related clinical practice.

  • Earn CAMPEP-approved Medical Physics Continuing Education Credits (MPCEC) for professional certification and, where applicable, licensure.
  • Expand your expertise with new concepts, techniques, and QA methods across imaging and therapy.
  • Learn from clinical, academic, industry, and regulatory perspectives.
  • Access digital course materials in advance to prepare for sessions (when available).

Overview Medical Physicists (CAMPEP-Approved MPCEC)

The AAPM 2026 Spring Clinical Meeting has been approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Educational Programs, Inc. (CAMPEP) for a total of 39.50 MPCEC hours, including up to 2 hours for General Poster Viewing.

Obtaining Credits

  • To obtain MPCECs, attendees must attend or view each session in its entirety and complete the online evaluation.
  • Presentations will be available On-Demand so registrants can view missed sessions and earn additional credits.
  • On-demand content is available ~24 hours after each session ends. Viewing is tracked electronically. Use your registration email and Registration/Badge ID to access the Online CEC Evaluation System.
  • Individuals registered as Guests are not eligible for MPCEC.

After the Meeting

  • After the online CEC evaluation system closes on May 05, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET, AAPM will provide CAMPEP with participant details and credits for transcripts in the CAMPEP MPCEC Repository.
  • Participants will not receive a hard-copy CAMPEP transcript. If needed, order directly from CAMPEP.
  • Credits will be released to attendees on May 11, 2026.

Continued On-Demand Access for Registered Attendees

  • As an added benefit of registration, On-Demand recordings will be available via the meeting platform for up to a year. After that time selected content will be moved into the Virtual Library.

For Non-Registrants

  • AAPM members will be able to access meeting content via the AAPM Virtual Library after one year post-meeting.
  • Non-members will receive access to the meeting content via the AAPM Virtual Library two years post-meeting.
Medical Dosimetrists MDCB Category A Credits

AAPM will apply to the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) for approval of CAT A credits for the 2026 Spring Clinical Meeting.

  • To obtain credit, attendees must attend each session in their entirety and complete an online evaluation survey.
  • The MDCB requires quizzes for activities being delivered remotely. AAPM does not offer MDCB credits for on-demand viewing.
  • The Email address associated with the registration the Registration/ Badge ID and a CMD# will be required to access the Online CEC Evaluation System to obtain MDCB credits.
  • AAPM will report the credits earned to the MDCB on May 11, 2026.

Online Evaluation Evaluating Sessions for Credit

Online Evaluation

The Online Evaluation system will remain open through Tuesday, May 05, 2026, at 11:59 PM Eastern time.

  • To obtain credit, attendees must complete an online evaluation survey.
  • To earn credits, evaluations MUST be completed before the evaluation closes.
  • There is no extension of the evaluation deadline.

Helpful Tips

Here are some helpful tips and tricks for navigating the online evaluation system.

  • Sign into the evaluation system using the email address you registered with and your Badge ID/Confirmation Number.
  • Access sessions via "Program by Day."
  • The system auto-saves all responses. No submit button is needed.
  • You can review sessions you have already evaluated by clicking "Review Credits Claimed."
  • Claim poster credits via "Credit Claiming Information."
  • Upon completion of the evaluation, obtain a credit summary via email from "Review Credits Claimed."

Please Note: Registration Badge ID (Confirmation Number) and the email address associated with your registration are required to access the Online Evaluation System.
